    Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Misrepresenting virtual items
Virtual item type involved: [DOTA2] Dota2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198063809116 (#nov[A]CE)

    Victim profile: 76561198078843261

    What happened? Description:
I had this item "Genuine Nyx Assassin's Dagon" and I posted it on one of the trading sites (which I believe you are familiar with). There are a lot of trading sites but I posted it on Dota2Lounge, I received a friend request afterwards and it was this guy:

    http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198063809116/

He looked fine, good reputation and stuff. He sent me a trade offer together with this link:

    http://dota2lounge.com/trade?t=63574193

The link I believe was something he used to "prove" to me the price of the item, the link leads to his post on Dota2Lounge which sells this "Autographed Trusty Mountain Yak". The description there mentioned that it has glowing effects and such... but it didn't. I already reported the guy to the admins in Dota2Lounge but I felt like it wasn't enough.

Regarding the people in his trade post in Dota2Lounge who made "FAKE" offers like: 22 keys and such, I think that they are his friends whom he asked help from by making "FAKE" offers to fool other traders! In other words, they are like a "scamming team" or whatever you want to call them.

Later on after we traded, I thought to myself that I should just sell the item to those people who made offers to his post (I didn't know stuff at that time) so I went back to his post via the link he gave me, and then I added them. Some time later, one of them accepted the request and then messaged me, asking what I need... I responded with a short explanation regarding the offer he made on the post, he made an excused that he didn't have any keys at the moment and he quickly removed me as a friend. After that, I am starting to worry that I got scammed so I consulted some of my friends that are good in trading, yes I was right... I really did get scammed and they suggested to me to report in every way I can!. It does not end here, I recently saw another post from him on the same website that might lead to another scam for a poor player, it does have the SAME EXACT description with the other post he used to scam me, it is also an autographed item and it also has "FAKE" offers made by his friends. Check it out:

I think that is all I got for now, regarding our trading though... I was playing DOTA2 while we were trading and our conversation was a bit normal, started with some hello and then "how may I help you?" and stuff... He then told me he wanted to make an offer for my item and showed me his "Autographed Trusty Mountain Yak" together with the post... was not really familiar with the item but the "FAKE" offers that his friends made is the one that got me to this situation... This is a really sad experience for me, I saved up a lot of money to buy steam wallet for christmas then I'll just get scammed out of what I bought... I really hope nobody will ever get scammed by that guy. Oh, and lastly! my thoughts about his FAIRLY HIGH reputation is just that his "scammer friends" are giving them randomly and stuff... Please investigate this properly, Thank you and have a nice day! :)

    Provide Evidence:
I kinda mentioned all that is needed up there in the description ;)
    thank you...

Without any screenshots of chat/agreement I am unsure as to the amount that steamrep staff can do.
