    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] Steam Wallet fraud
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198064388494

    Victim profile: 76561198116832223

    What happened? Description:
Was buying keys via reddit, he didn't seem very fishy at all, and accepted to make the payment first, instead of paying for the keys via Family and friends, he sent the payment via Goods. I was unaware of this at the start, and so I tried to refund the payment (I couldn't do this as I did not have enough funds to refund the payment due to fees).

The first image shows him paying me the money - https://gyazo.com/6383cac9bf22873a185c2e79b6d6c38d

The following image shows him sending the money via Goods and NOT via Family and friends, this is why I did not give him the keys, he could have easily scammed me and therefore, I did not give him anything and attempted to refund the payment - https://gyazo.com/952342d1929886b3450a57ac618dcd8e

Here is evidence of the refund not being possible, thus me telling him to make a dispute - https://gyazo.com/3cad409e71a73d2ebf0b3a7262c8c19c

    Provide Evidence:
In the first chat, it describes us agreeing the deal and as you can see it is quite fishy that it costs $48.75 but he wanted to pay MORE than we agreed and $50 which first gave me the sign that he is a scammer.

In the first SS, you can see that I cannot refund the item because there was a fee incurred suggesting he payed by goods and services instead of a gift which I said in the chat so he could charge back.

In the second screenshot you can see the trade offer for my 25 keys that we agreed on in the trade.

In the third screenshot you can see him charge back the money when I couldn't pay him back as I didn't have the money due to the fee.

In the 4th screenshot it further reiterated the goods and services payment instead of a gift.

In the 5th screenshot, you can see that a fee was taken away further reiterating it was a scam as he was going to charge back. He sent me a further $2.00 because he wanted the money back but I couldn't refund because paypal took a fee and that he had to send more and in the end my paypal balance decreased somehow after his scam.

1- PayPal UAE wont let users send money as friends and family neither they are able to chargeback on the transactions they made. I made this clear when we discussed things.
2- I paid you $50 to match the total agreed amount for your keys.
3- I kept paying you to make things work, it seems you dont have a verified paypal or linked bank account. That might be the reason you are unable to refund.
4- If I wanted to scam you, why would I risk sending you money knowing I wont be able to chargeback? The only way for me to get back my money is to dispute and wait for 10 days for PayPal to decide.
5- This might be misunderstanding on both sides or it might be you trying to run away with the money I sent.

I have bought keys via PayPal twice before using you. None of those sellers had any problems with my payment method at all. I can show proof of those transactions and even ask those sellers to come here and explain things for you. You might be underage and using someone else's PayPal I have no clue and you are busy spreading the word how I tried to scam you while I am the one who paid and never received goods. Its going to take PayPal 10 days to get that money back from you, I wonder what had happened if I tried sending you an amount over 300 damn.

Here's my side of story http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/...counter-strike-global-offensive-items.113485/ It was you who unfriended me without saying a word and it was you who asked me to dispute, I had no intentions of disputing at all. I needed those keys and due to your childish behavior I had to put money in my steam wallet then buy 40 keys of market which I am unable to trade for 7 f✿✿✿✿✿✿ more days. Just check my inventory arghh. Valve should limit trading to 18+ I guess. These random school kids winning bets and then trying to cashout suck.

See, straight toxic is expected from a scammer. I can't refund because I changed the currency to GBP which is my normal balance, and will let paypal refund you. Told you to dispute because my friends said that is the easiest way for you to get your money back.

And if it costs 48.75 why would you pay $50, which seems like an obvious scam because why wouldn't you buy keys from any other seller if you are willing to pay a higher price than for a seller that has just started trading? All my friends said as your payment had a send to address that it is goods/services and I'm meant to believe a guy who I suspect as scamming and who says he lives in pakistan and dubai and travels regularly and therefore cannot send as a gift? Seemed fishy to me so assumed scammer and all my friends who have pages of rep agreed aswell so they told me to avoid you 100%

Also the address you posted is a hospital so how can I confirm that you work there when you could have used your personal address. This has got scam marked all over it. I de-friended you because I thought the dispute would be fine and just wait 10 days, no big deal lol. It is you trying to scam i'm pretty sure, I was confused when you said that you couldn't chargeback because I have never encountered an issue as 2 years ago I used to trade FUT coins and overcame no issues until I was scammed, so now I am very wary. And I asked you to go first when you supposedly have greater rep so why didn't you decline? Seemed fishy from the start

Any why would you agree to sending as family and friends if you wouldn't in the end? Another fishy comment

You can't just report someone assuming they won't pay you - the user apparently did just not in the manner for which you wanted but did pay you.
If anyone is wrong its the Op here by not finishing the trade.
