Me and EcoBro3 came to an agreement, shown in the screenshot. Me being incredably stupid sent a trade offer for the wrong amount -_-

Anyway, he refuses to give me back the 16 other keys he owes me due to him being too greedy, which he says when I add him on my alt account, since I am blocked on my main. He has declined the trade offer sent to him.

i was sent the offer for the wrong amount. that was his fault. he sent it, and there is nothing i can do about that. then when i accepted he wanted 16 keys extra.
after a while, he adds me on an alt account, and then asks for them again. he actually says he will give me games afterwards, which is an OBVIOUS scam.

steam also does not return any items that you loose from a trade (eg the scammers that i mentioned... which ive had twice) and he was the one that sent the trade himself. he stuffed it up himself, and i shouldnt be punished for that

Yes, there was a lot you could have done about it. You could have simply given me the keys that I was owed, you can clearly see the price we agreed on in the screeshots, and you were just too selfish to return the remaining keys.

I added you on my alt account because you blocked me on my main account. I offered games since you had your heart set on not returning my keys, and I thought it was better to loose a few games than 16 keys, I don't see how this can be considered a "scam".

I may have stuffed up, but that doesn't escape the fact you won't return what should have been mine.

    Thanks.

You said to me yourself, "Report me, I deserve it.". You're obviously not trustworthy and shouldn't be trusted by others in the future.

you would obviousely remove me right after getting me the keys, so no chance there of games.
you sent me the offer, and you failed to put up 16 keys. your own fault sorry.

You deleted and blocked me after accepting the offer. I didn't remove you.

Also, I never said give me the keys first before the games. We would have just traded for them normally.

@EcoBro3 Before you posted on here we did not have enough evidence for this report. But you openly admit that you received the wrong amount of items in a trade offer and refuse to return them.
    Ready for review.

What is Steam's policy on returning scammed items/gifts?
Steam will not return any items or gifts that you feel have been traded unfairly. There are no exceptions to this policy. All trades are final. If you were scammed, you may submit a reportfrom the offending user's profile, however contacting Steam Support will not result in the return of any stolen items/gifts. This does not include fraudulently purchased games that you received and were removed from your account. Please see the below question for how we handle fraudulent gift trades.

Why will Steam not return items that were scammed?
During the trade process, Steam asks you to confirm your trade multiple times. It is your responsibility to review the items that you are trading. You first confirm the trade by checking the box that states, "Check this box when ready to trade". Once checked, you cannot add any items to the trade. If you remove an item you will have to re-check the box to confirm that you are ready. Once both users in the trade have checked this box, the final confirmation button will turn green. Both users must click this button to complete the trade. A log of the trade is also kept in a separate chat box within the trade window.

Yes, Steam themselves won't return the items, but you could have. Wasn't it your responsibility to check you were also receiving the correct amount of items, the amount we agreed on, instead of accepting an incorrect amount and blocking me?
