Scam Report Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulent behavior Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items Accused profile: 76561198065332338 Victim profile: 76561198029731740 What happened? Description: This person messaged me to sell his super valuable item with "heavy discount" as he said. Except that item is worth FEW TIMES less than he claims it to be. He tried to shark me as well as everyone on his friends list. Constantly tries to manipulate, too. Provide Evidence: I've also attached it below. 1.Price Professional Killstreak Strange Degreaser ~ 5-6 keys Allies extinguished ~ 0,75 key (used is worth moreless half) Let's say it's 6 keys now. Now the Halloween paints - they aren't that easy to price and that's how he tries to shark. a)prices according to community market: - Exorcism ~ 1€ (no buy orders) - Green flames ~ 6€ (buy orders at 2€) ~ 2-3 keys together There's a bug that allows use of those paints without expiring. Applied consumables cost moreless half of the price. Strong evidence: Professional Killstreak Strange Degreaser - at 24-27€ price range there are atleast 3 Degreasers with both spells applied. It's ~ 10 keys each Screenshots of them are in attachments. b)prices according to trading community: Paints only: - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23821433 (both paints applied - 3 keys) - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25134438 (halloween fire - 3 keys) Both trades above are up for 2 years, this indicates the prices are too high and there's no demand Strong evidence: -http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/28545216 - both spells valued at 2 keys by seller. (buy this strange degreaser for 3 keys and add professional kit worth 5 keys, now you have accused's item for 8 keys) - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/29269022 - 2.Manipulation Accused's TF2outpost trades for the item: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/29274205 http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/29277761 - Accused assures potentional buyers that it's discounted at every step. See chat or trades above. - uses buzzwords to make it seem like a good deal - "quicksell", "clean", "rare". - assures that it's worth 20+ keys and there are no sellers below that price (i proved that wrong above) - in (now closed) first trade, says he's going to discount it to 12 keys which is still way above highest normal price - gives false negative reputations to anyone who isn't fooled - I've never even was interested in buying it, yet he claims I am the one who tried to rip him off. This confirms he's a shark. Conclusion This person is a manipulator trying to misrepresent price of an item in order to profit. I think this is enough evidence to prove it and warrant him atleast a caution tag.
