What happened? Description:

One of my friends got impersonated, He had multiple Alts already but he claimed it was his brothers old account, and he showed proof that he was my friend (By showing the trades we have made and so on). So I believed him. I asked him a while back if he would trade my knife for me (Wasn't really wanting him to but he is really good at trading). So that didn't help because I believed him. So I traded him my knife and keys (Butterfly CH 70% Blue and 20 keys) So he said he found this awesome deal.. This dude was trying to squeeze every last item out of me.. So I said no that's all (He said that if I add more the person he was trading with would add on a little more too). Then after that he changed his profile name, blocked me, then went offline. I knew I shouldn't have done it. RIP items once again.​

The scammer impersonated my friend who already had a couple alt accounts due to having over 2,000 keys. The scammer said he was at his friends house and using a third alt, which my friend did not have in his bio along with his two other alts. Scammer said it was his brothers old account and that he's using it as an alt. He talked to me about previous trades I made with my friend somehow, so I believed him. I traded him my butterfly blue gem 70%, he then said he found an awesome deal but said I needed to add around 20 keys more, so I added my 20 keys and that's when he blocked me and changed his name.
