What happened? Description:

I responded to a TFOutpost trade (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25751421) by adding the user to discuss the process.
50 Refined for $0.10 USD was the agreed upon amount. I sent $5.00 USD to the email they provided ([email protected]) which I asked to double-check before sending the money.
The user said they didn't receive the transaction notice, my PayPal also told me the money had not been claimed yet. Several minutes later they confirmed that it had now been claimed, PayPal also verified this.
I then waited for a trade offer, instead they went offline. Later they came back on saying "Sorry I forgot to conform my email." I patiently waited once more. I asked if they were going to send an offer, they asked if I could do it. I sent a trade offer for 50 Refined Metal in exchange for "nothing." They then went offline and have not returned.
I am currently in the process of canceling the transaction with my bank.​

I know my Steam theme (Metro White - 3.8) may make this seem as if it was fabricated, as such, I haven't closed Steam chat yet. If the admins are skeptical, in what fashion could I prove the chat to be legitimate?

Update, he accepted the trade nearly five hours later.
Was still a sketchy trade from start to finish. So, I guess no ban; however, I'm not deleting this. Take caution when trading non-Steam items with this player.
