    What happened? Description:
    Added me randomly and said he could find someone to trade my:
    - Gut Knife Doppler
    - Five-Seven Case Hardened
    - M4A4 Battlestar
    For:
    - Falchion Knife Fade

    but blocked me once he had my items. I mistakenly trusted because he had positive comments on his bullshit profile and no negative steam rep.​

    What else needs to be explained?

    1. The accused adds me
    2. The accused messages me asking if he can up-trade my knife for me
    3. I gift him my knife and pistol
    4. The accused says he has found someone to trade but needs another rifle
    5. I gift him the rifle
    6. The accused blocks/de-friends me without giving any items back

    @ndunnett Well that was what I figured or assumed but I really have no idea why you would do that with a complete stranger like that.
    Either way the first post with details in the description is super important to avoid wasting time..because well frankly your opening description was near blank.
    Please provide a full screen shot of your Trade Inventory History for last few days to present- open this with a web browser, move your mouse over the users name in question so it shows up the hypertext popup URL at the bottom of the screen - take the screen shot DO NOT edit it in anyway and upload.

    Yes it was a really dumb thing for me to do it, but regardless, this guy is clearly a scammer.

    @ndunnett What I was getting at was just to drive home the situation at hand and how you created the report for future reference.
    We get a few hundreed reports over a few weeks time so you can see how important it is to get everything up front and move on it quickly.
    As for the trading with this user - yeah I believe you've learned from it which is certainly what SR is all about - education.
    I'm moving the report to review.
