What happened? Description:

He started by saying he was interested in my item (obviously) i said over and over i was only gonna do a 1 on 1 trade bcuz i have been stupid enough to have been scammed before but that was like for more than 1500 dollars. he said he was gonna do middleman trade and stuff. I wansn't gonna cave i stuck to it until he added the middleman to the group out of nowhere then i started thinking like an idiot and i thought well the middleman has gone through the trouble of joining and stuff and i didn't think anyone would go to such lengths for a scam. I checked the middleman's profile and it looked legit. here is a small part of the conversation between me and the scammer:

Between this there was a group conversation between me scammer and middleman but towards the end he said i was gonna press CTRL+W x2 that's when i knew i got scammed but i still did it cuz i still didn't know what it did and didn't think i could use the conversation.​

I know he will probably not get banned since i probably don't have enough proof but worth the effort. I will def start having my profile private next time i get a valuable item. Atleast to non friends although i have always wanted my profile to be open for anyone to come and adore :/
