What happened? Description:

If you're reading this M &M, I'm not even angry at you. I'm just sad. Now I can't pay for rent this month.

The guy added me after seeing my CSGOLounge post and told me he was a big skin buyer/seller. Now I usually know better, but he shared his screen on a website called "join.me" and showed me his PayPal where he buys and sells tons of skins.

All the PayPal transactions looked 100% legit and he made several hundreds of dollars. He was a really nice sounding guy and he showed me tons of pages of PayPal history with notes from his buyers and people who sell to him.

Honestly I have no clue how he made it appear so real, but I had a nice chat, sent him the knife, he stopped the stream and I knew it was over. He kept talking to me for a bit after saying he was going to send me the money, then he blocked me. Now he's parading my prized knife all over his profile.

He's a real scumbag. I'm fairly poor, so I'll never be able to save up enough money to get a knife again, so I'm pretty sad to see it go.

Sure thing. First though, here's the video:

I put my knife on CSGOLounge with cash being an option to trade for. I removed plenty of scammers, but this game seemed really legit. He told me to join him on a site called "join.me" so he could share his screen to me because "Pictures could be easily faked". He showed me all of his transaction history in PayPal, telling me how he had been a skin seller/buyer for 3 years. He showed me 15 pages of buy and sell transactions with notes saying, "Thanks, trustworthy" etc and the correct price on many different skin items over the past year. It was a full, real PayPal account of a skin dealer. But it seems he was lying about it all. I'm still so surprised he managed to make something look so real. It must have actually been real as far as I know. In the end I tell him I trust he's a skin trader, I trade him the items, he kills the stream and removes me.

Alright, here it is. I would like to see this guy banned as quickly as possible. I don't think he understands how much he's f✿✿✿ed up my finances right now, but I want to make him never able to trade for money again.

Yes I understand it is up to the trader to be vigilant and check steamrep. Thank you for moving this to review. He is most definitely a scammer so there is no doubt he will be banned on here.
