Description: "Ghost" is holding a $50 steam card giveaway for +reps on his profile. The giveaway started 15 minutes ago and he went from 4 comments of +rep to 4 pages (e.g. "+rep nice trader"). Just thought I'd report so someone doesn't trust him for trading because of his fluffed up rep. Also, he is using a brand new Reddit account /u/funasie Provide Evidence: Pics of his giveaway, Also has low karma and strange behavior on reddit account (weird offers, upvote threads, multiple $100 starbucks trades with no confirmed deals) Sorry for all the pics, thanks!
Steamrep does not handle fake +rep. Only community admins will process this. In your case Reddit, but because it is +rep on steam this report will most likely be archived.
Steamrep does handle fake +reps. However, the report will only be accepted if it's for something serious, like cashrep. While it may eventually be archived, the admins can choose to leave this up indefinitely, warning people who check the accused's profile. Then again, 95% of people new enough to trading to trust profile reps probably don't know what steamrep is. I honestly take profile reps as -rep at this point.
I have had contact with a steamrep admin he said this: Tio José das Vacas, SteamRep moderator; SteamRep Tier V Donator, Partner Community.
