    What happened? Description:
    I was added by this guy a few days ago. He laid dormant into my friends list up until today, when he hit me up telling me he has to confess something. He started going on about how he accidentally reported my account to Steam instead of a phisher that sent URLs and he is afraid of getting me banned by accident.

    He proceeded to tell me to contact Steam Support, because that's what they have told him to do. He kept going on about how they sent a correspondent from Steam Support to investigate, and this is when he sent me this Steam profile:

    At this point, it was clear to me that this is a pathetic scam of some sorts, since the profile he claimed was a Steam support "correspondent" had major red flags, claiming to be a VALVE employee.
    Before I called on his bullshit, I kept asking how should I contact Stream, via a ticket or other method, and this is when he suggested me that I might be better off to add the guy he gave to me.

    I called him out on this bad scam attempt, and asked him how does he thinks this even fools anyone. He told me "e di waw", deleted and blocked me.

    Maybe I could've kept pursuing by adding the account he sent to me, but I didn't want to get deeper, who knows what method of phishing were they trying to pull on me.​
