What happened? Description:

[This happened quite some time ago, so I don't know if this report will be valid. I just want SteamRep to know that this person may still be untrustworthy.]

I was playing TF2 for the first time in 2014, and had bought some things off the Mann Co store (as I wasn't fully aware of the trading scene back then).

After my purchases, I played a game of Barnblitz and was contacted by the accused a few minutes into the match.

He presented me with a trade request, which I've included as evidence. [Note: the site doesn't accept the photo because it believes that the file extension doesn't match the file itself, for some reason. Because of this, I have had to include it as a link to an image hosting site.]

He constantly reassured me that the trade was not a scam (although it clearly was) and seemed to have chosen to scam me in particular because I was new.

I'm reporting the accused as he might have scammed more people since this date and could still be doing it.

I'm unfortunately unable to link the chat log as we mostly spoke in the trade window. I'm unsure if this report will still be valid given the time taken to report the accused and the low amount of evidence.​

I cannot provide any further evidence because I did not know that I was being scammed (so I didn't screenshot anything) and most of our conversation was in the trade window.​
