    What happened? Description:
The accused sent me an add request with his profile fashioned to impersonate an OPSkins bot. His profile also showed membership in a fake group fashioned to purport being the OPSkins bot group. (See screenshots attached.)

This is the fake OPSkins group:

The accused sent me an add request, but I did not accept it. I was not interacting with the accused nor with anyone else, regarding any trade whatsoever, today, and also not using OPSkins—so when I saw a random add from an "OPSkins bot" out of the blue, I checked its Steam profile and saw that it clearly was a fake.

Its profile description text states that it is a bot from the website OPSkins (which is a lie) and it also belongs to a fake OPSkins group. (If you go to OPSkins and get the link to their real bot group from there, you can check it's not the same group.)

I did not accept the add request, but I think it's still pending. I could accept it now, if you want.

Yeah without the intent to scam.. not going to do anything.
Accept them and find out what they want.

There are just too many of these so called "fake bots" around we don't have the resources to tackle them all without intent to scam.

I accepted the add, and the bot sent me a message [1] with a link to opskins.info, which is not the OPSkins website URL (The real OPSkins website is https://opskins.com/ ).

This link to the fake OPSkins website loaded a screen mimicking the real OPSkins [2] cloudflare loading screen, and then showed a screen mimicking a Steam trade offer screen [3][4][5][6] purporting to give me items, but upon clicking the 'accept.' it triggers the download of a Steam.exe file and a popup telling me to run it. (No doubt malware/virus to assist in stealing items/hijacking accounts.)
