What happened? Description:

Remy added me, asked how much my hat was, told me to wait some minutes. Checked out steamrep at this time, saw current reports against them. Continued to play along to get chat proof. They asked me to add a friend to our chat, and to trade my hat to my friend so they could check if it was duped. Asked a trusted friend to help me, added him to the chat and traded the hat to my friend, who was then traded by an alt of the scammer, using my picture and name. Sent a link to the scammer of his alt, then blocked him.

As I stated over steam chat to Clive (unsure if it's been seen yet or not), unfortunately my friend did not take any screenshots of his chat like I asked.
