What happened? Description:

Guy added me to buy some buds. He he been on steam for a bit, had a high steam level and had previous profile rep of buds transactions. We traded and went over smoothly. He then said he wanted to get some for his girlfriend. Payment went over smoothish. 5 minutes after the transaction, he charged me back on both and deleted me on steam. I just lost $400 dollars, my christmas money, due to this guy.​

scammed me as well, out of 64$ (2 buds) though, i didnt screenshot the trade unfortunately so didnt put a report, he has about 17 buds so looks like me and you arent the only ones, glad someone could put a report though. sorry you lost so much :c

Yeah... All that money was to go towards my gifts for my family and friends. I am extremely depressed over it. I have a bad feeling I am not going to get my money recovered.

The transaction is still marked as complete, PayPal hasn't yet held the funds will update if / when it happens. Not sure if it's his legit account or a hot one.

Same guy added me today to buy Buds. I did some background checks on him and i found this thread. When i asked him about this, He removed me. Pretty much obvious that it was an official charge back.

I know what he is doing. I've added people he has traded in. He using hacked paypal accounts or some s✿✿✿. He is Russian and not from Canada. he has used more then 4 different paypal accounts for his transactions so yeah... It's been quite a bit and he is still scamming people. Steam and steamrep havn't done anything yet sadly.. I mean I'd think playing with peoples bank accounts and scamming people would be a top thing to deal with.

I know at least 3 more people who were scammed by this guy. He didn't have anything wrong with steamrep and had a legit profile and the buds ended up in a russian hackers inventory. This guy should be banned

Freeze just look at your trade history in your inventory and pair it up with your paypal transaction. It should be obvious what happened to the admins.

Same with me.. he added me to sell him 3 buds for 105 dollars. Everything went smooth he payed me the money after i gived him the buds but after 10 minutes he charged me back and removed me + block..on steam. When i gived him the buds he gived me 1 stupid cheap crate to make you believe i'm an idiot.

This was an agreement for 2 buds or $68 dollars that went sour along with trade history
