What happened? Description:

Impersonated my friend (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198047054434/) and asked to borrow my most expensive item in my Dota 2 Inventory. Fortunately I had a nickname on my friend, so I knew it wasn't really him, but I looked through the impersonator's steam name history and I don't remember adding him.​

Unfortunately I didn't have the foresight to save the chat window and I hastily blocked the scammer, but here is a shot of the two profiles shortly after the attempted scam. Top is friend, bottom is scammer.​
