What happened? Description:

The accused went onto my friends list and changed his picture and name to that of one of my best friends steam accounts, and led me to believe it was him. He invited me to a server that said I lacked the required anti-cheating software. The accused, under the alias of my friend "Joakes" sent me a link to this software and said it was because he was playing ESEA.

After downloading it, my computer died. It was a virus. I immediately wiped both hard disks in my pc to prevent any keylogging. I have evidence of his name change to "Joakes" and evidence that "Joakes" is actually a friend of mine. However, this user blocked me after I asked him if he had attacked my account so I do not have screenshots of the chat log.

The software he asked me to download was called "Asus-Wire"
