    Victim profile: 76561198026553870

    What happened? Description:
    This was an attempted scam.

    He added me and asked if I sell my knife, worth about 180€. He then offered 216€ in items for it.
    After that, he told me to get a friend to "hold" my knife for me. Obviously, there is no reason to involve a middleman in a simple item trade.
    This is a popular scamming method at the moment, where people copy the entire profile of your friend to trick you into trading your valuable item to that account.​

    -confirming the identity of the scammer​
