    What happened? Description:
    What happened?:

This guy added me to buy my Terror-Watt Company Man that I had listed on Marketplace.tf, and asked if the price was negotiable. I told him that I can lower it to 50 USD (the price I was trying to sell it at was 55), and he said he'd think about it. Four days later, I'm messaged by him again. He offers that he'll buy it at 50, but claims that the Marketplace.tf inspect button is "not working", and asks if I can withdraw it for a bit so he can inspect it in-game, so I withdrew it. He asks me to show him the "item index" of it, and when I told him I didn't know how to do that, he tells me to check it at a site called "tf2space.com". Mind you I had recently logged off of Steam on Chrome that day, so I didn't bother thinking I was in trouble if I logged into an (albeit fake) TF2 trading site. I logged in so I could see the "inventory tab" he was mentioning, but I was hit with an "UNDER MAINTENANCE" page. He plays this off when I tell him this by saying that he'll just check the stats at Backpack(.tf) instead, and says I can list it back on Marketplace.tf.

I try listing it back, and I get pretty suspicious over how the bot I'm trading with doesn't have a level or badge, despite having the same name as the bot I was told I was trading with (Bot 166). I checked the inventory of the bot, and it was already full of keys and other items and unusuals. I decided to cancel the trade and retry, assuming it was Steam just being buggy. He asks me if I have any other unusuals, and I tell him I have an unusual taunt. He asks how much it is, and I tell him: "8.69". He then asks "In USD how much?", and upon repeating myself, he states he'll buy it for "9," and tells me to deposit it also, despite it already having been up for sale on my seller's page even before he added me.

I tried depositing again, this time under "Bot 99". Again, the bot had no level or badge, so I checked the bot's inventory, and it was the same exact inventory as the previous bot I tried trading with. At this point you would assume I would be smart enough to block the guy and change my password, but since Steam does that s✿✿✿ to me all the time with other users I assumed it was just Steam being buggy again, though I did tell the guy what was happening and how I was a little anxious over it being a scam, to which he reaffirmed my thought that it was just a bug.

I accepted the trade hesitantly, to which he immediately blocked and removed me. The item I deposited never appeared on my seller page.

    How do you know them?:

I didn't know him. I never met him on Team Fortress 2, or anywhere else for that matter. He added me unexpectedly, and I never discussed with him any farther than the trade plan.

    Provide Evidence:
Not sure what I should put here; I don't have any text-based evidence, but the screenshots are given below, my description of the event is above, and I listed his profile information above.

I really do apologize if the screenshots I have are not sufficient enough to get this guy banned. I have no idea how to screenshot my inventory history, and at the time if I knew what was up I would have made sure to screenshot everything else, but I only figured it out after it had happened and the guy had removed me. I didn't know the requirements for a SteamRep report at the time, and this happened a few days ago. By the time he removed me he had set his profile to private, so I can only suffice with his account information (which I gathered at the time) and a screenshot of me attempting to re-add him.
