What happened? Description:

My friend doesn't know how to make a steamrep scam report so I'm making it for him. What happened was my friend was randomly added by person who was part of "Tip of the hats" charity event. He was apparently collecting donations for the event in return for a chance to win an unusual and the scammer sent a random trade offer for most of his hats with nothing in return. My friend asked if he can confirm that he was part of Tip of the Hats charity event and the scammer said that he was told by Star_ to collect donations and try to get more than 50k steam revenue. That's when my friend told me about all of this and I'm sure it was a scam.​
