    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] Steam Wallet fraud
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198107048830

    Victim profile: 76561198163090057

    What happened? Description:
I, the victim, was sent a friend request by Desu because he had seen listings for my painted Unusual Orbiting Fire Prince Tavish's Crown and Strange Sniper Rifle with the Strange Part: Headshot Kills. He claimed that he had seen the unusual on trade.tf and been re-directed to backpack.tf. I accepted the request from this stranger, and we proceeded to have a long conversation about a trade: I would send the Unusual, the Sniper Rifle, and around 3 keys worth of other items, and he would send the code for an unused 50 USD Steam wallet code.
However, he claimed he had t go to basketball practice, and I was busy, so we talked again in around 2-3 hours. He eventually said a friend (in real life) wanted the unusual and paid him 50 USD to keep if he got him the unusual. Desu, the accused, claimed he needed real life cash fast, so he eventually offered to send the 50 USD code along with a 20 USD code if I sent all the items first, so that he would still make 30 USD in real life. This followed negotiations about me sending some items first, then receiving the code, then sending the unusual.
Although I made a serious mistake, I was too tempted, so I confirmed that he would send the codes before sending the unusual, Sniper Rifle, a Point and Shoot, some metal, a Strange Dark Age Defender, and some taunts. Following this, he simply made fun of me and proceeded to unfriend me. He sent no valid code.
As another note, the unusual has been traded to another user, whom I believe is the accused's main/other alt. I'll include his information, but I have no evidence showing that he is the scammer, so I just want to show it: | steamname: bleach

    | customURL: http://steamcommunity.com/id/blechboy
    | steamrep: http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198197251846

That concludes the significant details of the trade.

    Provide Evidence:
These screenshots show the initial trade agreement, proof of the broken agreement, and proof that I verified the identity of this person. I apologize for this, but be warned that some of the screenshots contain profanity said by the accused. Also, I can unfortunately submit no more screenshots, but here is the link to the history of the unusual: http://backpack.tf/item/3729857122 View attachment 424797 View attachment 424798 View attachment 424799 View attachment 424801 View attachment 424803 View attachment 424804 View attachment 424805 View attachment 424806 View attachment 424807 View attachment 424808 View attachment 424809 View attachment 424810 View attachment 424812 View attachment 424813 View attachment 424814 View attachment 424797 View attachment 424798 View attachment 424799 View attachment 424801 View attachment 424803 View attachment 424804 View attachment 424805 View attachment 424806 View attachment 424807 View attachment 424808 View attachment 424809 View attachment 424810 View attachment 424812 View attachment 424813 View attachment 424814 much profanity said by the accused. Thanks that was just for confirmation
I'll move this to review - as this was rather quick the follow up may take a while so be patient and avoid bumping the report unless adding more evidence.
