What happened? Description:

I'm selling my BP for real money and the user posted on my TF2OP thread offering 60$ for all of my Bill's hats (4). That's just slightly over their current market price so I decided to contact the user. Upon contact you can see the that the user claims that he:

1. Has no previous rep
2. Is trying to start real money trading
3. Is looking to buy for reselling for a proft
4. Offered to pay via Paypal or 3.20$ disposeable credit cards
5. Handled a link with information regarding $25 $50 and $100 cards when asked for more information about them
6. Offered to pay $75 worth of cards instead of the original $60 offered, an increase of 25% over the original value making it extremely unlikely to be able to resell the items for any profit at all.
7. Gets "confused" when confronted with his lack of coherence
8. Denies being able to do business within the steam market, offering to send a screenshot as proof
9. Leaves without sending a screenshot

My grounds here are just intent of scamming as there are a number of flags that can be raised. I wouldn't say to consider the user a scammer but if there is no intermediate status such as "probation" at least this report will serve as information for anyone planning to do business with this user, in case they choose to do a background check.​
