What happened? Description:

I was looking to sell an Autograph on Dota2Lounge when i found this guy's post:

So i posted the item in question (my item) and he responded that he added me:

He said that he has Steam Wallet Codes so i told him the following:

Let me break it down:
1. He has Steam Wallet Codes which are presumably valid
2. I told him to use those codes into his account and then buy the item from the market even though i would lose 15% from the agreed price (Valve Tax)

5:46 PM - tommy~: not for me
5:47 PM - Runner [DOUD]: so i should report you for trade scam right?

5:47 PM - tommy~: their account magically got credited ryt?

I have seen plenty of these cases:
The scammer "has" Steam Wallet Codes but doesn't want to add them to his account and then purchase the item from the market.​

Yes, he tried the same trick on me too! I also asked the same question ''can you buy it from me on steammarket? I'll put it to be exactly the price you asked, i'll pay the 15%.''
Got the same answer '' Got free codes, won't use on me'' and so on
