What happened? Description:

This man listed his karambit fade on a csgo trading website. He said that he "didn't need it anymore"

Then proceeded to tell me that all I had to do was get a 'very valuable and rare' dota 2 item (a game which I know nothing about, especially its economy), and then trade it back to him for the knife in a 1 for 1 trade.

He claimed that he had attempted to trade his karambit fade ($450) for the item, but the person who had it didn't want his "shitty pink knife" and had blocked him.

I added the other person and did some research on the item, only to find out that it is worthless, before he sent me a trade offer, for items of mine which are worth $70 tops, for the item that was too precious to trade for a Kara fade????? Makes sense.

I then proceeded to accuse him of being a scammer, only to be quickly blocked by first the account which I am accusing, followed by the other account (I assume which was just his account also). Both ending with what I'm guessing is an insult "bb".

The proof is in the screenshots. The entire conversation which I had with both parties is there, as well as the attempted trade for my knife and weapon skins (which I declined after doing my research on the incredibly low value of the item.)​
