    Scam Report

Report Type: [Accomplice] Alternate account of hijacker or scammer
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198109762771 ()

    Victim profile: 76561198027864470

    What happened? Description:
This happened in May and what happened is I got phished and got my account hijacked. I already got dupes of my items and account back but I am here to report the hijackers that took my account and items then. So in Tf2outpost there was a phishing link that went around and I clicked on it and within an hour my account was gone from me. It took valve 5 days to give me my account and items back. While this says the TF2 items were involved, Dota 2 and CS GO items were also involved in the trade. When I checked my items were gone and asked valve to dupe them for me and they did. I was able to check my item history and track down the 2 guys that were involved in this. This account is the one that took my items and the other guy I will make a report on in a little bit. Unfortunately there was no chat saved (since the account wasn't in my control at the time) but this guy needs to be banned as a hijacker on steam rep along with his accomplice.

    Provide Evidence:
Scammer 2 is the item history and shows all of my items that were traded to BenJ, and Scammer 2.1 has his profile shown.

    Hello @Professor Nope,

There has been some changes in the policy, and as such, your report will be archived, please read here: http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/notice-changes-to-investigation-policy.47952/

    What we don't research anymore:

CD Keys/Game Code/Wallet code scam reports
    Fakerep reports
    Phishing/hijacking account reports

You can, however, report the user directly to Valve using the Report Violation feature on the other user's profile. To do so:

    1. Visit the accused's profile
    2. Click More drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose Report Violation
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click Submit Report

Click here to view an animated gif that shows how to report a violation.

    Regardless, thanks for the report!
