What happened? Description:

He offered $25 steam credit for my bill's hat. He put up his chucklenuts claiming that was his "best friend" and that I should trust him because he put his best friend. I accepted the trade and he sent me two steam codes. I then put them into the "redeem steam codes" section and it said that they are invalid. He then changed his name and removed me from friends. Prior to this I thought he sharked me but I on't have any evidence of that.​

You can, however, report the user directly to Valve using the Report Violation feature on the other user's profile. To do so:

1. Visit the accused's profile
2. Click More drop-down located at the top right of the page
3. Choose Report Violation
4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
5. Click Submit Report
