What happened? Description:

I received a private message from this user explaining that they accidentally reported my account as a fraud and that my account would be banned within the next 7 hours. They were apologetic about the mistake and claimed they had contacted a valve employee which they were working with to resolve the issue, but they wanted me to click on a particular link to get this issue fixed using discord.​

well I was supposed to make an investment on steam and as I paid the money to that scammer, I didn't notice that he was just an impersonator of your account then as I paid him the money he removed and blocked me rip :frowning: and i just got a response from Steam Support today since I was scammed last 2 days for about $3500 then I thought it was you since you have the same profile I think he is impersonating you and according to the message he has scammed a lot of people already

If he scammed, you through PayPal you should be able to get your money back by contacting PayPal directly. They will be canceling the last transaction you made, and any funds will be frozen and you should get your money back in a few days

All is good with my account, I was able to get in contact with a friend of mine that works in steam customer support and he had a quick check on my account, and everything is grand. The strange thing is he could not find any reports made against my account. Which seems a bit strange if you would like i can forward your details onto him.
