What happened? Description:

Wanted to buy my items for Paypal funds through a middleman. Sent a link to a trading forums 'trusted middlemen' page and got a guy from it. I tried trading with the middleman and the moment I sent my items to him, both users blocked me.​

These are screenshots from the chat. in the end, he unfriends me and blocks me after I sent my items to the fake middleman. My email has been censored for the sake of my privacy. There is also a screenshot of my items in the middleman's inventory, and a backpack.tf screenshot comparing a few days ago to today, showing the items being removed. Finally, a screenshot of me attempting to add him again, confirming the block.​
