What happened? Description:

Friend was added by said attempted scammer, who asked him to add a friend to "check the hat's history". My friend sent the unusual hat to me via trade, and the attempted scammer added me, to which I accepted. After a few minutes, he placed his conversation with me into group chat, in which another person impersonating my friend joined in. Steam ID's did not match, have my friend's conversation with him below:​
