    Report Type: [Gambling] Fake gambling website
    Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198117932552

    Victim profile: 76561198250666874

    What happened? Description:
    Got me onto his gambling site telling he can make anyone the winner. Tried to set up a deal with me to get items from the site in exchange for me changing my name to promote his site.
    1. Showed me he can make anyone the winner
    2. Told me to put up at least 10$ worth to win the pot ("you need at least 5% to win")
    3. After I put in the money the pot of course grew and I lost my percentage, he paused the timer for the jackpot, so I could deposit more.
    4. I saw the comments of people complaining about the timer stopping and their willingness to report this site, so I thought it's legit. (Spoiler: those are Bots with real steam names, the people don't know about them being used, I tried to contact them, some are banned etc.)
    5. I hesitated but gave in. Every time I deposited (regular trade with a "Tradebot", it was just a regular account) the pot grew bigger and I fell below the 5%.
    6. Fortunately I catched up, even tho a bit late, and stopped depositing. He tried to convince me into depositing more, I stopped.
    7. I actually won the pot, but here is the catch: I could not withdraw the items due to his "policy" requiring new players to win a second time, to lose even more money. I Stopped here for good.

    79-85 Steam Chat Log detailing the process of the scam
    86-87 the site itself, "Live Chat", Jackpot etc.
    88 the withdrawal process requiring two wins
    89 the trades and the items I lost
    90 the Tradebots profile after it got tradebanned (day after I reported)
    91 the Tradebots profile before it got tradebanned (same day of the scam)
    92 Tradebots inventory with my items (from the video I made right after)

    Everything you need to know should be in the Screenshots. The Tradebot got banned the day after I reported to Steam, the player however was not banned. I made a video with all the details going over what exactly happened right after I got scammed. I also have a screenshot of the jackpot and it staying on the 1 second mark if needed.     Unfortunately, SteamRep no longer as of 5/18/2019 reviews or accept reports dealing with any Fake Gambling site or scam sites - Due to current Investigative Policy

    This includes anything random sites that a user gives you for a chance to win anything. Gambling sites are against Steam TOS also therefore you should avoid these users, delete them, report them to Valve instead as noted below.
    This was clearly noted to you BEFORE You sent to submit the report - please do not ignore our policies/notifications that are there to read before submission.

    You can report the user to Valve instead
    In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT
