What happened? Description:

This person added me on on his alternate account, "Jamal" and offered to buy my entire inventory for 300 dollars through paypal, and said he would pay first. I dont have the intitial conversation, but he ended up sending me a fake invoice gift, saying 300 was paid. As on his steamrep, there are other reports of this happening. I trusted him, and gave him half my items, and then another half. Turns out in the end, he admits to scamming because he has a bad gambling problem. The stuff i said, was just to pity him. Most of it isnt true.​

He ended up taking my 300 dollars and it was my fault, but i dont want this to happen to anyone in the future. If you look on his steamrep, there are the exact same type of reports, however this time he actually admits to it and feels bad for me. it was 300 dollars, and i lost it.

By the way my caution on my steam rep was my fault. I used this to scare my scammer into giving me back my items. I abused it and im sorry. Wont ever happen again, i promise.​
