What happened? Description:

Mika - who also runs under the name of "Destiny - #restocking items" has added me in order to trade for my Karambit CH with a rare pattern. He first added me and instantly offered me 700 USD for my knife, and then I told him I wanted $800. He instantly said that it was ok, which first aroused suspicion. Similar to all his other trade reports, he then runs me through what he pays with. He says "PayPal/Visa/MasterCard/Bank Transfer/Swish/Western Union/Venmo", which then I asked if he traded with BTC.

I checked out his profile, when he told me he had been trading for 5 years. I noticed he had his own group, which he was administrator in. This group is fulled with +reps (presumably fake). I noticed that on his group - with 3,800 members, only 11 players were online, and when I called it out, he said that it was because it was 1am in his country.

He gave me his trade link many times and I made it clear that I wasn't comfortable trading my knife without security that I will get my payments. I made the fair offer of listing my knife on cs.deals where he could then buy it and I know for a fact I would get my money. He would repeatedly refuse this offer throughout the chat, stating that he didn't want to wait 16 days to trade it, which further aroused my suspicion. He keeps assuring me that he is trusted, and this is when he links me his second account - the one more commonly reported "Destiny"
claiming that this is further proof that there is no risk.

For the most part, the rest is me being suspicious and then him assuring me that his "$1.8k" inventory account was risk free. He told me that he wasn't comfortable with the 16 days trade ban, and me telling him I wasn't comfortable trading him a $800 knife, then him attempting to justify himself by noting how he wouldn't want to ruin his rep. I then called him out for using his own private group, and not using the official CashRep group, to which he kind of avoided the question and for some reason told me that he doesn't care about a cashrep even though he had just told me that he didn't want to ruin his rep? This is when I had the idea of trading on the community market - which he replied with a screenshot of his community market, with a $5k limitation applied to his account - one similar that was reported in other reports against "Destiny" (the same guy).

The final part is when he takes it to discord - which is where he starts the call and screenshares (I have no proof of this) which is where he proceeds to attempt to convince me further - showing me his paypal that allegedly had "$8000" in it. This part - I don't expect anyone to believe but led me to make this thread. He openly showed me his trade history - and I saw plenty of TF2 keys being traded to BTC, and plenty of trades of him receiving knives without offering anything back. Some of these knives were knives that have been reported as scammed. I asked him to click on the profiles of the trades, to see if he had blocked them, which is where he flat out refused, and tried to avoid it as best as possible. I inspected his comments, and realised that he had atleast 50+ comments that came on the same day, within 2/3 minutes of eachother. These are clearly bots / rep for rep profiles. This is where I concluded that it was a scam.

I don't really care if this gets denied/accepted, I just want people to be able to see this.​

However, with such a rare + expensive knife I feel as if it's too risky to send you the trade and simply trust that you will send me the BTC.I will propose this, yes, you will have to wait an extra 7 days to withdraw but if we can do it over cs.deals, I will sell you the knife for $750?
