    What happened? Description:
    Someone contacted me randomly saying that they wanted to be the middleman of a trade between me and one of his friends​

    Provide Evidence:
    Recently I played a game of CS:GO with a guy who said he was a smurf. He played pretty well so I kind of believed it. We played a couple more games together nothing fishy. He messaged me randomly saying he wanted to trade for my knife in which I said sure. He said never mind that he wanted my M4A1S Bright Water, I didn't care too much because even if I did get scammed I wasn't losing much in the scam. He came back and said that his friend "randomly" wanted a rust coat and he was offering me trades. I suggested we do a direct trade or a middleman via Steamrep and he didn't want to. I added his friend and we had some fishy conversations and he also didn't want to do a direct trade or use SteamRep. At the end he keeps nagging me to give him the knife even though I refused.

    Not enough evidence of a scam here, anyone can use or suggest anyone else to be a middleman. Middleman usage doesn't have to come from Steamrep -we do NOT have official MM anyway.
    I'm archiving report since its a lack of scam/attempt shown.
    Sketchy maybe but not conclusive... do 1 for 1 trades vs funds in the future to avoid issues.
