What happened? Description:

Accused purposely sent a phishing link to my friend Antique Doorknob to steal his items. Stole a lime Disco Beat Down Whoopee Cap from him.​

Provide Evidence:

Steam chat has all the info of the accused admitting to phishing Antique Doorknob and stealing his items. Even admits to having an alt under this account - http://steamcommunity.com/id/bennitoburrito

History of the Whoopee Cap shows that Antique Doorknob owned it before the accused - http://backpack.tf/item/2255442563

Same exact hat is now in the accused's inventory.​

Sorry for such a late response. I didn't know I had to respond back for this issue to be resolved. Not only that, I've been stuck up with college.

Considering this is nearly five years old to this date, it took a lot of thinking just to figure out what the hell is even going on in this report. But for starters, I bought your friends DBD whoopee cap for $68 and some change (due to a fee at the end) over Paypal. I attempted to search for the receipt it sent to my email but had no luck in doing so.

Continuing on, I went first and it was a swift trade. We said our thank yous, removed each other and went on with our days. We even left "+rep" tags on each other's steam profiles at that time. How could I have possibly phished your friend?

I simply deny involvement in any phishing or hijacking of anybody's account and/or inventory.

As for the alt you claim I have, I also would like to say:
This steam account is the only steam account I ever had and/or will ever have.

PS: honestly, the way that the text box is cropped is kind of weird. I don't see any reason why you would need to crop the outside of the chatbox. Chat could have easily been tampered with, considering there is a sudden switch in tone and way of texting midway through...never encountered a scammer that just gives away his main account either. One screenshot of a wonky chat log is not much to show for a report in my opinion anyways. Just saying...
