What happened? Description:

After posted a trade request on steamtrades the user contacted me and offered to transfer money through PayPal for some games that (s)he was looking for. After saying that I did not have a PayPal account, the user then offered me TF2 keys in exchange for the games (which were in the form of steam keys, so no direct trade through steam would be possible), and posted a link to another SteamTrades user's profile. I got a bit suspicious and asked to split the trade up into smaller parts, as I did not want to lose 23 game keys to a random scammer. The user did not seem to be interested in this arrangement and promised that (s)he would log in with his main account to prove who (s)he really is. This obviously never happened, even after ½h of waiting (giving the user some time to actually prove that (s)he's not a fraudulent person in case it was just a big misunderstanding).​

Fnord: So that's 23 steam keys in total (or well, +2 for the soundtracks, but those hardly count)

konyo42: Hm.........it's pretty much with me
konyo42: How about 12 keys?

Fnord: I don't know if steam is acting up, but that profile that you linked does not lead to your account
Fnord: I.e. the steam ID is not the same
konyo42: That's my main account, this is my sub account, my main account has been hacked as it just keep sending fishing link to my friend list, so i use this sub account for trading in the time i fixed that problem.
Fnord: I still want to be a bit careful, that's a substantial amount of games. So I sugest that we split the trade up into smaller portions
konyo42: Okay, i understand, tell me your idea.
Fnord: We simply alternate trading (i.e. I send you 2 keys, you give me 1 TF2 key, and once some have been traded, we can do larger batches, as then I know I can trust you)

konyo42: well, as you can see my rep on steamtrade, we trading in steamtrade, not gog, so you must follow the rule of it.
Fnord: Yes, I know. It was just used for refference, I don't intend to not follow the steamtrade rules
