What happened? Description:

He offered me a trade but wanted to check info on me from my friend. I linked him my friend on steam and in a short while he wanted to use my friend as a middleman.
I agreed and we got into a group chat with an the guy I wanted to trade with, and an impersonator of my friend. When I checked my friend's profile I learned that he had copied my friend's profile to look like the original.
I backed away from the offer without losing any items.

In the screenshot of the chat window before I quit the group chat you can see he tried to use an impersonator of my friend KamikazeTikka(2) as our middleman.
