What happened? Description:

Basically, I wanted to sell an item, right after being hacked by someone else, and this trader said that i can fully check his profile and steamrep to see that he is clean.
I thought wrong and hard and checked through his profile and steamrep. But nothing seemed wrong with it. Him being a lvl 30 and being a verified trader when i checked on steamrep.

SO basically i was desperate as well for the money as i needed it to pay my home bills. so because he knew that i just got scammed that he would slightly raise the price that he was going to buy it for. I felt a little fishy, but like i said earlier on, there was nothing wrong with his steam profile as well as steamrep so i went ahead and gave him the item. i lost about 100 USD to him.

I know even though steam probably wont help me get my item back that this is all i can do, even though i really wish to have it back as i really have no money...

Anyway thanks for viewing this ticket and hope no one else falls into this fake trader's trap.​
