What happened? Description:

Some random adds me impersonating Extro from csgopolygon.com with an inventory storage link to the real Extro wants to trade skins with me and attempts the item verification scam.​

Provide Evidence:

This one is quite funny because sometimes to catch a suspect you need to impersonate yourself as the victim or the suspect just like Chris Hansons "To catch a predator".

Anyway this guy impersonating Extro from Csgopolygon.com betting site adds me. (Do note his profile was public prior to our conversation) and has a inventory storage link to the real Extro's inventory.

Now I knew automatically this was going to be a quick bait item switch scam or the verification scam where I'll go, 'ok I want trade my knife for your knife'(knife from another persons inventory, the impersonators inventory is private) and then he will go 'ok but is your knife verified' etc. and then attempt to force me to deposit my knife to another fake Valve admin account to verify my knife for item duplication etc.

Anyways enough of my rambling bs, so I jumped the gun and ask him if his knife is verified until he suggests that we should both get our knifes verified, at this point I was 1 step ahead and told him to add Gaben's steam account..

Anyway it was fun trolling him and in the end he s✿✿✿s his pants and goes nevermind (with his original attempt to scam me through item verification) and he deleted and blocked me.

His profile is now private to public viewers unless you add him and he accepts your friend request.​
