What happened? Description:

This guy pretended to buy my knife and he wanted me to show if I could trade it to a friend because he was scared if I couldn't. So I sent it to my friend http://steamcommunity.com/id/Flarris/ who I trust and this guy http://steamcommunity.com/id/hadsrfee/ pretended to be me by stealing my profile pic and name. And Flarris sent it to him not knowing it was not me when I asked for it back but the scammer traded at the same time.​

Provide Evidence:

scam1 = Him pretending to be me
scam2 = my inventory history to my friend
scam3 = my friend's inventory history
scam4 = proof that the scammer was friends with the guy trying to buy my knife
scam5 = you can see the fade of my knife
scam6 = otherside of knife
scam7 = he now has my knife and I did not trade with him and you can also check this if you inspect in-game it is the same exact fade
scam8 = I closed my chat with him due to anger and now I can't re-add him to get the chat logs because he has blocked me.​

Also in scam4 you can see at the top left the person's url link

Here is what you see when you inspect the knife ingame. Marble fade has different types of fades so for him to have the exact same one as I had shows that he obviously scammed me.

We also never agreed on anything but he just caught my friend by surprise because he spamming to me get your knife back from your friend. And I tried to trade with him at the same time which caused him to give it to the other guy by mistake. He also said tell your friend to give his cyrex like he kept spamming do you trust your friend 100%? But I couldn't get the chat logs. If you know how I could reopen that chat box I would be happy to do it but he has blocked me.

Btw this was spose to be a Impersionation/Middleman scam type not quick switch, sorry about that.

Update: The guy with the knife brought the knife legit. But the scammer must still be banned.

I don't believe you can pass a report without the chat agreement as it is considered vital evidence, but its up to the staff to decide.

What if the I didn't agree on a trade and all he did was want me to show that I could trade the knife to someone?

I'm not sure, but it still smells like a scam to me.

Scammer changed his link to http://steamcommunity.com/id/jantedong/ theres a link on his profile http://prntscr.com/5f8ftd show his steam wallet with CDN$ 535.34 prob from selling keys after trading them for stuff he's scammed.
