What happened? Description:

I was on an unusual trading server and this guy said he was buying unusuals and buds. So, I decided to trade him, he said he didn't have pure so he would give me ~$55 on PayPal. I am normally untrusting of people but I decided to progress further. I checked his profile and he only had 5 hours in TF2, I brought this up and he said he was trying to get back into gaming so that's why. I was still very cautious about it, though. He wanted me to go first but I refused. I suggested we get a middleman and he refused that unless it was Mattie, the person he knows as the richest TF2 player. So, I decided I might as well go through with it. I gave him the hat and he sent me a few more messages before saying the money was sent. The money, as you may have guessed, never arrived. I continued to message him but his name in the server and on steam had changed to Lillipomdiw, but in my friends list and chat, it still said Pornhub. I got no responses from messages, trades were instantly denied since he was "not available for trading" and I removed him as a friend and tried to readd him and it said there was an error. I suspect it was some sort of name change glitch, but that isn't really important. I checked outpost and it says that no one had the hat after me, I checked his inventory and he didn't have it, nor did any of his friends. I also no longer have it, so I suspect that for some reason he may have deleted it.​

The first 3 pictures show the chat, it overlaps so nothing is cut out.

The following image is outpost showing that I am the last owner

The final image is my PayPal account, note there is no money in it and the last transaction is from October 2nd.

These were taken in chronological order, if you check the file name it will show the date and time to prove that.​

Never do cash trades with anyone under 300 hours on TF2. Or if there steam level is under 4. Sorry about this, great proof man. Have a good one.

Update on this, thanks to a good samaritan, it turns out that it is now with his main account: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198128579028. According to this person he is looking for offers on it. If you would like me to make a separate request for the main account, I will kindly do so.

I spoke too soon, this is apparently another one of his alts, but it is currently where the hat is sitting.
