    What happened? Description:
On May 13'th 2015, I traded my Dota 2 items for a Witcher 3 pre order copy. This guy added me telling that he has the copy of a game and wishes to trade me for my dota 2 items.Since he mentioned, he will go first and will also let me activate the game first, I thought its an OK trade. We then successfully traded the items and games.

Now today, 11 June 2015, I received a message when I opened steam client, saying that "Your copy of Witcher 3 Wild Hunt has been revoked from your library successfully.
Now how is it possible, its been almost 1 month and I even played 12 hrs.

And since he was going first and letting me activate the game too, I didnt take the screenshot of chat then, the only mistake Im regretting now.

You can send steam support a ticket regarding to this issue, they'll revert the trade (duping the item) which will give you back what you traded for.
Another thing to note here is that game copies are hard to trace since it can be bought by someone else who proceed to charge back at a later date.

Thanks for the tip. So, I should rather go for direct steam purchase now? Or is there any safe way left for trading games?

Seeing that Steam is still offering support for problems like this, I wouldn't be too worried. Just keep in mind that next time you trade for games, make sure they trade the game(s) to you via the same trade offer for your items.
