    Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Quick-switch trade scam or attempt
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198135439585 ()

    Victim profile: 76561198066085461

    What happened? Description:
Out of nowhere this guy added me and started spamming me with links. I know it's a scammer so I blocked all communications. A few minutes later he started spamming again. I don't know how because I blocked him. A few moments later he started spamming me with trade requests. When I opened the bar in the Steam overlay, to see my notifications, and clicked the trades, there were 3 trades that he sent to me. I clicked "Incoming Offers" and somehow he stole my items. I really don't understand how did this even happen because I never accepted anything from him and somehow he stole my items.

Here's a list of items he stole:

CS:GO - Unusual Knife, Night skin, Field Tested (around +50€) - Picture: http://nsa34.casimages.com/img/2014/06/16/140616123200127564.png

    TF2:
    - Strange Festive Stickybomb Launcher, Specialized with Hot Rod.
    - Strange Festive Grenade Launcher, Specialized with Mean Green.
    - Strange Bottle, Specialized with Hot Rod.
    - Strange Medigun.
    - Strange Grenade Launcher, renamed and with parts.

Here's a link to his inventory where you can see my items:

I don't know where did the knife go because I don't see it in his inventory. I had it on the Steam Market and I also have a trade on Outpost: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20370549

Here's my Backpack.tf link of before he stole my items and after. Check the timeline: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198066085461?time=1402556400
    - The value dropped from $86 to $26.

I also reported this scam directly trough Steam and also here.
Please, return my items and ban that scammer!

    Do you have the chat?

    Did he hijack you?

    What links he spammed you?

I unfortunately don't have the chat. I remember it was a link to the Steam market. I noticed a name of a knife in the link but also the "Community" was written like "Comrnunity" or something similar, so I knew it was a scam. What's weird about it is that I know he sent me a scam link and I didn't click on it and I still got stolen from. That's what's bothering me :/
Define hijack. I didn't accept any trades nor did I click on any links. I checked my notifications when he sent me a trade offer. I clicked the "Incoming Offers" button to check who sent me what and all of a sudden it said I have accepted the offer.

    Hello @Dulje,

There has been some changes in the policy, and as such, your report will be archived, please read here: http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/notice-changes-to-investigation-policy.47952/

    What we don't research anymore:

CD Keys/Game Code/Wallet code scam reports
    Fakerep reports
    Phishing/hijacking account reports

You can, however, report the user directly to Valve using the Report Violation feature on the other user's profile. To do so:

    1. Visit the accused's profile
    2. Click More drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose Report Violation
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click Submit Report

Click here to view an animated gif that shows how to report a violation.

    Regardless, thanks for the report!
