What happened? Description:

Essentially he is pretending to be a valve employee. He sends an offer with just your item and claims that upon accepting the trade you will be credited with $XXX amount of dollars. I've copy pasted the exact message here.

"Steam Guard:After sharing your purse will be credited $ 400 (Please dont copy this message)"

I also have a screenshot which I will upload below. I don't know them personally they just sent me a steam offer (my steam trade URL is public on my profile and CSGOLounge).​

Provide Evidence:

This file is from my steam offers page. It was pretty obvious to me that he was trying to scam but younger/newer users might fall for it.

If you'd like further proof I can take a GIF of me looking at trade offer and then straight to his profile.​

Provide a uncropped screenshot of the Trade Offer the accused sent to you in fullscreen from a web browser pointing your mouse on the accused's avatar so his steam avatar / name will popup beside.
