    Scam Report

Report Type: [Gambling] Fake gambling website
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198136987521

    Victim profile: 76561198140293793

    What happened? Description:
This user talked to me and asked me if I could advertise his website (that I later discovered was a fake gambling website), and that he would pay me a weekly amount of money in Team Fortress 2 items. He then claimed that he would pay me by letting me win everytime in his website, after this, he proceeded to show me how the website worked and asked me to choose a player to win as a form of proof, I then chose one player in two rounds and they indeed won, but in a very suspect way, because the roulette always followed a similar pattern evey game. After this he asked me to login through steam and asked me to click a "deposit money" window, after this moment I realised it was a scam, I had to give my items to a "bot" before I could gamble, and the minimum bet was of 10 dollars, I proposed the bot a scrap and a crate as a test, but they both got refused. After this, I told the guy that he was scamming and he immediately went offline and blocked me.

    Provide Evidence:
He immediately went offline after I accused him of being a scammer and blocked me. It's impossible to manipulate the results of a gamble in a gambling website if the site intends to be honest or legal, this was just a silly excuse to make me trust him, if he was really intending to pay me, he could just send me a trade offer, and not promise to wrongfully manipulate a gamble to make me win. The way he tried to prove was by asking me to choose a player to win and he would make him win, which was likely a software he programmed himself and used multiple fake accounts or something similar (not very familiar with this technical stuff). After this, he asked me to deposit itens by giving them to a bot, I did sent a crate and a scrap metal to test it, but both of the trades got refused, probably since the minimum bet was of 10 dollars, at this point, I didn't send anything else to the bot because I was absolutely going to get scammed, then I accused him of attempting to scam me, he then went offline and blocked me. His account is also level 3 and the inventory is set to private.
