What happened? Description:

I was playing in a casual server, and the accused messaged me to play some competitive matchmaking, I declined, then he started looking through my inventory and asked how I got my Flip Knife, I told him I received it for my birthday, I assume this made him want to scam me since I didn't actually pay for the knife, he offered me $80AUD for the knife which is about $10 above market value, I accepted, I asked him a few questions, he was adamant he could be trusted. He did have rep and things on his profile so I went through with the trade. He said he gifted me money via paypal and that it would take 2 hours to process, me not knowing about paypals instant gift money transfer believed him, he supplied me screenshots of him paying into paypal from his, So i accepted the trade, Once the trade was complete he blocked me on steam.​
