What happened? Description:

I believe he has tried this scam before, but with a different name.

He added me, saying that he wanted to buy my Unusual White Steaming Killers Exclusive for 4 Buds and 3 Keys pure, 2 which he would buy off the market and 2 Buds and 10 Keys which he said he would get selling his strange festive scatter. He wanted me to add a friend to the chat so he could have a witness to see the deal being made, and so I added my friend Pyrjaniac to the chat. He presumably took screenshots for his own personal records, because after we told him he is a scammer he threatened to report me.

After he took the screenshots (I did as well) he asked me to trade the unusual to Pyrjaniac to insure that I would not run away and leave him with his pure. I did so, and when it was in Pyrjaniac's hands (not an impersonator), Pyrjaniac found his SteamRep profile and found he had been banned from doing this before.

From what I understand, when he was done creating an account to impersonate me (original owner of the unusual), he would add and trade my friend, who would give him the unusual thinking it was me. We told him that we knew about this and so we unfriended him and I received my unusual back from Pyrjaniac.​
