    Scam Report

Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198139185309

    Victim profile: 76561198075440401

    What happened? Description:
This person didn't even add me or comment on my profile. The first suspicious thing (and the thing that made me know it was a fraud) was him claiming to be a steam rep admin and commenting on a random old screenshot as a form of telling me that I had duplicated items and that legal action needed to be taken. In the screen shots below, I was purposefully acting like a complete idiot to try and make him more cocky, but it didn't do anything. After I added him, he messaged me within 10 minutes telling me that I was about to be banned for fraud/scam. After numerous ban threats. I called his bluff and he says my account was going to be banned. He told me I had to file an appeal and told me to go to a guide on how to "verify" my item. Basically, he was going to pull a trade offer scam on me.

While all of this was going, a steam user who I do not know commented frantically on my profile warning me that he was going to hijack my account and take my items. I did not see this comment until after the scammer had blocked me. Not sure if that has any value as evidence, but it is noteworthy.

Although he didn't say what items he was after, I am almost certain it was one of my 4 tf2 unusuals, since many many scammers have tried to get them.

This is the guide that he referred me to:

@Lipid You should report the user that contacted you or the account - not this one.
Doing so backwards makes things difficult to review.
So what was the other main account that sent you the message?
    SR profile block please

I do not understand your question. The person here is the person who contacted me and attempted to scam me. He just contacted me indirectly first, and then I have him in the DMs later.

The person in the photo was the main person who sent the messages though? And I swear I did copy paste his block information.

I double checked, this is indeed the right player. I used player search to find his name again

The comment has been deleted, and upon searching there are multiple accounts named like that account. My sincere apologies for that hilarious misunderstanding my dude
