    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] PayPal scam or scam attempt
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198139345658

    Victim profile: 76561198081073113

    What happened? Description:
Added me while I was on the Vatican city unusual trade server, I accepted. He then proceeded to ask to buy my items for paypal. He had legitimacy about him so I figured he might be alright. We then got into a discord call after discussing a price, and he proceeded to send me an edited screenshot (See screenshot 1) of what appeared to be a confirmation that he had sent the funds. It had an error which seemed to prove that it was faked, as there was something else behind the g in my paypal email. He then told me that the funds may take up to 24 hours to go through, but from my experience, It takes around 10 minutes. I then proceeded to delay him, just in the case that he was legit. The funds still had not come through, So I tried to get the idea into his head that this trade would not work, hence some "glitches" on my end. I did not want to directly insult him as he seemed like an alright guy, but in the end, I had to cut communications and block him. He then told me via discord that he had been recording the whole thing, and that he would be using his screenshots and the recording which I did NOT give my permission for, and get me trade banned (See screenshot 3), and marked as a scammer. I am not a scammer and I said that if the funds do come through, then I would accept the trade offer. I unblocked him and went go go make this report. He has refused to reason with me and did not tell me why he had a steamrep report against him already for the same type of scam. the picture "faked paypal payment" is what he sent to me. I have never dones this before, so if there is anything else that is needed, please let me know.

I just do not want to get trade banned, and he said he would get me trade banned from a recording that I did not consent to, and edited screenshots

Not enough evidence - never discuss steam trading out side of steam chat - your chat you provided shows nothing of the full agreement as in what exact item for whatever.
