    What happened? Description:
    The User wanted to trade my butterfly knife night (field-tested) for 105 USD. He showed me a screenshot of his paypal account and i then traded him the knife. He removed me from his friends afterwards and dint pay the money.​

    Provide Evidence:
    As its visible, no paypal money was received, he removed me from his friends and i lost my buttefly night field-tested.​

    The last chance to get your item back would be making a Steam Support thread ( This just if you still have email confirm enabled).
    There are big chances of not getting it back as you accepted the trade from your IP, with your knowledge.
    About the accused person, we can preety easily say that he's a scammer and found the right person at the right time for doing this. He might be banned, as you provided relevant evidence.

    The problem is he traded the knife for a karambit safari mesh, and as far as i can tell, he either sold that one or traded it to another account.

    As it seems he got trade banned by Valve - i think that is the best possible outcome and now he at least cant scam other players with this account.
