    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulant behavior
Virtual item type involved: [None] No items

    Accused profile: 76561198141028799 ()

    Victim profile: 76561197996477175

    What happened? Description:
I've been trying to trade a copy of "LA Noire" for the last couple days through tf2outpost and steamtrades and this guy added me, saying his friend wants to add me but isn't being able to, providing a link to said friends profile (which is the fake steam site). So, basically, he tried to scam me by making me install some kind of steam hacking tool called "steamguard.exe", which I assume would either turn my steam guard off and let whoever enter my account and change my password, mail, etc.

    Provide Evidence:
I haven't been trading for a while, so I got caught off-guard, I ended up putting my password on the scam site (which I changed right away) and only noticed what it was when it downloaded the file.
